Regular Season Round 10: UNI Gyor - NKE-Csata 74-76

The most exciting game of round 10 in the A Division took place in Gyor. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers UNI Gyor (6-4) to fifth ranked NKE-Csata (6-2) 76-74 in the game for the fourth place. American forward Megan Gustafson (190-3, college: Iowa) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Slovenian guard Zala Friskovec (179-99, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Spanish point guard Sandra Ygueravide (172-84) responded with 11 points, 9 assists and 4 steals and the former international guard Krisztina Raksanyi (180-91) scored 17 points. Four NKE-Csata and five UNI Gyor players scored in double figures. UNI Gyor's coach Milos Pavlovic tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. NKE-Csata moved-up to fourth place. UNI Gyor at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. NKE-Csata are looking forward to face Cegledi EKK (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. UNI Gyor will play against Atomeromu (#3) in Szekszard and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
