Regular Season Round 11: Atomeromu - Szolnok 75-84

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Atomeromu (8-3) against sixth ranked Szolnok (7-4) on Saturday night. Host Atomeromu was defeated by Szolnok in a tough game in Paks 75-84. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Atomeromu. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Slovakian guard Andre Jones (195-90, college: Winthrop, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Dakarai Tucker (196-94, college: Utah) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Shannon Evans-II (185-94, college: ASU) replied with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Atomeromu. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Atomeromu's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Szolnok moved-up to fourth place. Atomeromu at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Kormend. Szolnok will play against PVSK-Veolia (#6) in Pecs in the next round. Atomeromu will play on the road against the league's leader Falco-Vulcano (#1) in Szombathely and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
