Important game to mention about took place in Kaposvar. Sixth ranked DEAC (8-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 11th ranked Kaposvari (5-10) 94-92 on Friday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. DEAC made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Point guard Gergo Varbiro (189-1) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 7 assists. Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (201-85) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Rashun Davis (182-93, college: Radford) replied with 27 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Roland Hendlein (206-86) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Kaposvari. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. DEAC moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Alba. Kaposvari lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost. DEAC will face Oroszlany (#10) in Oraszlany in the next round where they are favorite. Kaposvari will play on the road against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and hope to win that game.
