Very expected game when 9th ranked APOP (1-11) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked E.N. Paralimni (6-5) 79-71 on Saturday. APOP trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 26-18 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 71-79 at the end of the game. E.N. Paralimni forced 19 APOP turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Swingman Dalan Ancrum (198-96, college: W.Illinois) fired 26 points for the winners. Guard Jordin Williams (190-96, college: LSUA, agency: Network Sports International) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four E.N. Paralimni players scored in double figures. Point guard Phil Taylor (178-91, college: Shorter) produced 29 points and 5 rebounds and forward Anthony Stover (208-90, college: UCLA) added 11 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for lost side.
