Regular Season Round 13: Keravnos - AEL 95-76

OPAP Basket League top team - Keravnos (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eighth ranked AEL (2-9) in Strovolos 95-76. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-76. Keravnos had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Guard Josh Hagins (185-94, college: UALR, agency: Haylett Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Jake OBrien (206-89, college: Temple, agency: HMS) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward KenDarrius Hamilton (206-96, college: Tennessee St.) produced 25 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Travon Harper (202-94, college: UAPB) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Keravnos and four AEL players scored in double figures. Keravnos have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. AEL lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. Keravnos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. AEL will play against Apoel (#5) and hope to secure a win.
