Regular Season Round 15: NKE-Csata - ZTE NKK 88-84

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked NKE-Csata (11-3) beat 6th ranked ZTE NKK (7-8) in Budapest 88-84. NKE-Csata players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Slovenian guard Zala Friskovec (179-99, agency: LBM Management) who scored 35 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists. International Reka Lelik (178-99, agency: Wasserman) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. Four NKE-Csata players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Kirby Burkholder (183-92, college: JMU) who recorded 23 points and 5 assists and the other American import forward Keyona Hayes (188-94, college: Miami, FL) added 23 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for NKE-Csata. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Miskolc. ZTE NKK at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. NKE-Csata's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Budapest to the arena BEAC-Ujbuda.
