An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Larnaca. Second ranked AEK Larnaca faced one of their biggest challengers Apollon. Host AEK Larnaca (10-2) defeated guests from Limassol (9-4) 94-85. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Apollon. Apollon trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 26-24 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 85-94 at the end of the game. American forward Zacarry Douglas (203-95, college: NC Central) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Aundre Jackson (196-95, college: Loyola, IL) added 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. AEK Larnaca maintains second position with 10-2 record having just two points less than leader Keravnos. Apollon at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost.
