An interesting game took place in Zalaegerszeg where 9th ranked ZTE KK (6-8) was upset on its own court by twelfth ranked Kaposvari (6-10) 113-102 on Saturday. Kaposvari made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Kaposvari outrebounded ZTE KK 30-19 including 20 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was guard Julian Norfleet (188-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who scored 29 points and 7 assists. Point guard Rashun Davis (182-93, college: Radford) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Dirk Williams (196-94, college: UAB, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 25 points and 4 assists and point guard Justin Bibbins (178-96, college: Utah) added 22 points and 7 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. ZTE KK's coach Tamas Bencze rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kaposvari moved-up to eleventh place. ZTE KK lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with KTE-Duna. Kaposvari will meet at home league's leader Falco-Vulcano in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ZTE KK will play against Oroszlany (#8) in Oraszlany and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
