The game in Pecs was also quite interesting. 7th ranked UNI Gyor (7-8) played at the court of eighth ranked PEAC-Pecs (7-8). PEAC-Pecs did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 86-68 on Sunday. PEAC-Pecs looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Cierra Bravard (193-89, college: FSU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Ukrainian center Taisia Udodenko (191-89) accounted for 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four PEAC-Pecs players scored in double figures. PEAC-Pecs' coach Robert Meszlenyi used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spanish point guard Sandra Ygueravide (172-84) came up with 17 points and 8 assists and Reka Dombai (179-2) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for UNI Gyor in the defeat. PEAC-Pecs moved-up to sixth place, which they share with ZTE NKK and UNI Gyor. PEAC-Pecs will meet at home Vasas Akademia (#10) in the next round. UNI Gyor will play against the league's leader Sopron Basket (#1) and hope to secure a win.
