A very interesting game took place in Nyon. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 12th ranked Swiss Central (1-13) to eleventh ranked BBC Nyon (4-10) 85-82 in the game for the eleventh place. BBC Nyon outrebounded Swiss Central 39-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Senegalese forward Maleye NDoye (202-80, college: Furman) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Senegalese power forward Cheikh Sane (207-92, college: Marshall) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five BBC Nyon players scored in double figures. Jamaican forward Joel Wright (201-90, college: Texas St.) produced 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) added 25 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Newly promoted BBC Nyon maintains eleventh position with 4-10 record. Swiss Central lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. BBC Nyon's next round opponent will be league's leader Fribourg on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Swiss Central will play against Vevey Riviera (#6) and hope to win that game.
