An interesting game was played in Novosibirsk where host Dynamo NR (#7) rolled over one of their biggest challengers Spartak Vidnoye with 34-point difference 91-57 on Sunday evening. Dynamo NR dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Vidnoye's 26. Guard Olga Vorobyeva (182-87, agency: LBM Management) scored 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Victoria Cheren (187-98) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Dynamo NR players scored in double figures. The former international Kamilla Ogun (190-99, agency: LBM Management) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Morgan Bertsch (193, college: UC Davis, agency: LBM Management) scored 6 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dynamo NR (6-7) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Enisey. Spartak Vidnoye at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Dynamo NR will meet higher ranked Nadezhda Orenburg (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Spartak Vidnoye will play against the league's leader UMMC Ekaterinburg and hope to secure a win.
