Rather expected game when 11th ranked Vologda-Chevakata (5-21) lost on the road to eighth ranked Kazanochka (12-14) 59-50 on Thursday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kazanochka made 7 blocks. The winners were led by forward Olga Lavrova (182-95) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and guard Kseniya Kunakova (168-92) supported her with 12 points and 7 assists. Kazanochka's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds by Elizaveta Bratchikova (190-96) did not help to save the game for Vologda-Chevakata.
