Superleague 1 top team - BC Rostov (24-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Chernye Medv. (8-18) 105-84. BC Rostov dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Chernye Medv.'s 36. BC Rostov forced 20 Chernye Medv. turnovers and outrebounded them 45-34 including 33 on the defensive glass. BC Rostov players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Ekaterina Gunchenko (183-98, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and international power forward Anna Zaitceva (183-99) who added 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Five BC Rostov players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Viktoriya Shipovskaya (182-94) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and guard Elizaveta Balykova (172-98) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BC Rostov have a solid four-game winning streak.
