An interesting game for UMMC Ekaterinburg (13-0) which hosted in Ekaterinburg 4th placed Spartak Vidnoye (7-7). Leader UMMC Ekaterinburg had an easy win 97-46. UMMC Ekaterinburg dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Vidnoye's 20. They outrebounded Spartak Vidnoye 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. UMMC Ekaterinburg looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for Bahamas-Bosnian center Jonquel Jones (198-94, college: GWU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds. International Eugeniya Belyakova (182-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four UMMC Ekaterinburg players scored in double figures. American forward Morgan Bertsch (193, college: UC Davis, agency: LBM Management) answered with 9 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Daria Kurilchuk (179-98, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points in the effort for Spartak Vidnoye. Spartak Vidnoye's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. UMMC Ekaterinburg have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-0 record. Spartak Vidnoye at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. UMMC Ekaterinburg are looking forward to face MBA (#7) in Moscow in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Spartak Vidnoye will play at home against Nadezhda Orenburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
