No shocking result in a game when second ranked Neuchatel (14-2) defeated at home 5th ranked Monthey (9-7) 73-55. The winners were led by American swingman Isaiah Williams (201-92, college: Iona) who scored that evening 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Selim Fofana (190-99) supported him with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by American swingman TJ Dunans (196-92, college: Auburn) did not help to save the game for Monthey. Serbian center Milos Jankovic (206-94) added 15 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Neuchatel have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-2 record behind leader Fribourg. Monthey at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Neuchatel's next round opponent will be Vevey Riviera (#6) at home. Monthey will play against Boncourt and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
