The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Falco-Vulcano (16-2) in Oraszlany on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by ninth ranked Oroszlany (8-10) 87-84. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Falco-Vulcano. American point guard Eric Washington (182-93, college: Miami, OH) scored 22 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Remy Abell (195-92, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) during the contest. The best for the losing side was international swingman Zoltan Perl (195-95, agency: BeoBasket) with 23 points and U.S. Virgin Islands forward DeQuon Lake (208-97, college: ASU) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Oroszlany maintains ninth position with 8-10 record. Defending champion Falco-Vulcano still keeps top place with two games lost. Oroszlany are looking forward to face Sopron KC (#11) at home in the next round. Falco-Vulcano will play against Alba (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
