Superleague 1 top team - BC Rostov (28-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Vologda-Chevakata (5-25) 93-50. BC Rostov dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Vologda-Chevakata's 30 and had 23 for 37 from the free-throw line, while Vologda-Chevakata only scored five points from the stripe. BC Rostov forced 19 Vologda-Chevakata turnovers. Vologda-Chevakata was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by international power forward Anna Zaitceva (183-99) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 rebounds and guard Ekaterina Voronina (176-2, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) supported her with 16 points.
