Rather expected game in Oraszlany where 11th ranked Sopron KC (7-12) was defeated by ninth ranked Oroszlany (9-10) 91-75 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American point guard Eric Washington (182-93, college: Miami, OH) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian power forward Milivoje Bozovic (210-85) helped adding 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Oroszlany's coach Sebastjan Krasovec used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American point guard James Kinney (187-90, college: SJSU, agency: Mansfield and Associates) responded with 17 points and the other American import guard Bernard Thompson (191-93, college: FGCU) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Oroszlany maintains ninth place with 9-10 record. Loser Sopron KC keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Oroszlany will meet higher ranked Szolnok (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sopron KC will play against the league's leader Falco-Vulcano (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
