Regular Season Round 20: AEL - E.N. Paralimni 81-60

An interesting game was played in Limassol where host AEL (#8) rolled over higher ranked E.N. Paralimni with 21-point difference 81-60 on Sunday evening. The game was mostly controlled by AEL. E.N. Paralimni managed to win third quarter 20-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding E.N. Paralimni to just 6 points in first quarter. AEL forced 19 E.N. Paralimni turnovers and outrebounded them 35-24 including a 23-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. The game was also dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jaylin Walker (185-97, college: Kent St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Travon Harper (202-94, college: UAPB) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five AEL players scored in double figures. Guard Jordin Williams (190-96, college: LSUA, agency: Network Sports International) responded with 20 points and 4 assists and power forward Brian Sylvester (203, college: LSUA) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. AEL maintains eighth position with 5-13 record. Loser E.N. Paralimni keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. AEL will meet higher ranked Apoel (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. E.N. Paralimni will play against APOP and hope to secure a win.
