Regular Season Round 18: TFSE-MTK - Atomeromu 68-88

The game in Budapest supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Atomeromu (13-5) played at the court of 5th ranked TFSE-MTK (9-7). Atomeromu did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 88-68 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TFSE-MTK. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to TFSE-MTK's 36. They outrebounded TFSE-MTK 40-26 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Atomeromu looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Croatian Ivana Dojkic (180-97, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) supported her with 19 points. Even 27 points and 9 rebounds by American forward Alisia Jenkins (186-94, college: S.Florida) did not help to save the game for TFSE-MTK. Her fellow American import point guard Chanise Jenkins (165-92, college: DePaul, agency: LBM Management) added 21 points and 5 assists. TFSE-MTK's coach Bianka Magyar let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Atomeromu maintains fourth position with 13-5 record. Newly promoted TFSE-MTK keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Atomeromu will meet at home BEAC-Ujbuda (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TFSE-MTK will play against UNI Gyor (#8) and hope to secure a win.
