Regular Season Round 36: Dynamo-Farm - Spartak SP 58-57

Fifth-ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (16-18) made lots of trouble for second ranked Dynamo-Farm (26-8) in Kursk on Wednesday. Dynamo-Farm managed to secure only one-point victory 58-57. However their fans expected easier game. The best player for the winners was center Ksenia Nesterova (193-98) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Olga Stolyar (168-99, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Dynamo-Farm's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Natalia Vodopianova who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and guard Victoria Mazur (164-92) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively. Dynamo-Farm have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 26-8 record having six points less than leader Rostov. Spartak St.Petersburg lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Kazanochka. Dynamo-Farm are looking forward to face Chernye Medv. (#9) in Sankt Petersburg in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Spartak St.Petersburg will play on the road against Kazanochka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
