Regular Season Round 24: Burevestnik - MBA Moscow 92-74

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Burevestnik (16-7) beat 8th ranked MBA Moscow (11-12) in Yaroslav 92-74 on Sunday. It was a good game for American guard Justin Roberson (185-93, college: ULM) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 4 assists. Forward Andrey Semenov (200-90, college: JMU) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Burevestnik players scored in double figures. Burevestnik's coach Mikhail Terekhov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International point guard Andrey Sopin (186-97) replied with 21 points and power forward Alexei Kuznetsov (205-84) added 14 points in the effort for MBA Moscow. Burevestnik moved-up to third place. MBA Moscow lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. Burevestnik will face bottom-ranked Novosybirsk (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. MBA Moscow's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Moscow CSKA 2.
