The game in Krasnodar supposed to be also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Unics-2 (18-17) played at the court of seventh ranked Lokomotiv-2 (19-16). Lokomotiv-2 smashed Unics-2 101-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Unics-2. The game was mostly controlled by Lokomotiv-2. Unics-2 was better in fourth quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lokomotiv-2 had a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Unics-2's players. It was a great evening for Ukrainian Andrey Martyuk (206-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Daniil Sereda (197-1) helped adding 18 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side center Semen Pinaev (208-99) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Denis Barannikov (188-0) scored 14 points. Five Lokomotiv-2 and four Unics-2 players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lokomotiv-2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Unics-2 at the other side keeps the sixth position with 17 games lost. They share it with MBA-2. Lokomotiv-2 will again play against Unics-2 (#7) in Kazan in the next round. Unics-2 will have a break next round.
