Regular Season Round 32: Khimki-2 - Enisey-2 108-69

Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Enisey-2 (7-29) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Khimki-2 (23-13) 108-69 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Khimki-2. Enisey-2 managed to win second period 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Enisey-2 to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Khimki-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2's 32. They outrebounded Enisey-2 49-16 including a 34-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Khimki-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Enisey-2's players. The best player for the winners was forward Vladislav Odinokov (203-0) who scored 30 points (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Guard Ivan Pynko (194-0) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Khimki-2 players scored in double figures. Forward Dmitriy Sonko (196-1) produced 25 points and guard Yegor Bezrukov (185-0) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Khimki-2 maintains third position with 23-13 record having four points less than leader CSKA Junior. Enisey-2 lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 29 lost games. Khimki-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Enisey-2 will play against Parma-2 (#10) in Perm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
