Very predictable result when sixth ranked Boncourt (8-12) won against bottom-ranked Swiss Central (2-18) in Luzern 106-92 on Saturday. Boncourt shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 60.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Xavier Ford (203-93, college: Buffalo) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Eric Fongue (197-91, college: Alaska-Fairb.) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Boncourt players scored in double figures. American point guard RJ Price (183-93, college: Radford) replied with 39 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) added 21 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Swiss Central. Swiss Central's coach Danijel Eric rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Boncourt maintains sixth position with 8-12 record. Swiss Central lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Boncourt are looking forward to face BBC Nyon (#11) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Swiss Central will play against Lugano Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
