Important game to mention about took place in Tobolsk. Fourth ranked Neftekhimik T. (10-10) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Zenit-Farm (13-7) 76-73 on Saturday evening. They outrebounded Zenit-Farm 45-33 including 23 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for swingman Aleksey Almushev (198-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Maksim Pylaev (196-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) helped adding 19 points and 14 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Alexandr Kurbatov (208-97) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and forward Fedor Shpakov (200-97) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Neftekhimik T. maintains fourth place with 10-10 record. Zenit-Farm lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with seven games lost. Neftekhimik T. will play against Lok.Kuban KRS (#7) in Krasnodar in the next round. Zenit-Farm will play at home against Elbrus Cherk. (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
