Very expected game in Krasnoyarsk where 12th ranked Enisey-2 (8-34) was crushed by seventh ranked Zenit-2 (20-22) 104-79. The game was mostly controlled by Zenit-2. Enisey-2 was better in second period 26-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Enisey-2 to just 7 points in first quarter. Zenit-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2's 36. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for guard Nikita Tikhonov (190-99) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Ivan Belousov (191-1) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Zenit-2 players scored in double figures. Forward Dmitriy Sonko (196-1) replied with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Anton Fokin added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Enisey-2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zenit-2 maintains seventh position with 20-22 record. Enisey-2 lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 34 lost games. Zenit-2's next round opponent will be league's second-placed CSKA Junior in Moscow and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Enisey-2 will play at home against Lokomotiv-2 (#4) and hope to win that game.
