Date: March 11, 2020
9th ranked Oroszlany (10-11) was outscored at home by third ranked Atomeromu (14-7) with the biggest margin this round 105-81 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Oroszlany. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Oroszlany's 36. The former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and American guard Shannon Evans-II (185-94, college: ASU) chipped in 14 points and 12 assists. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Bosnian forward Ramo Rizvic (203-87) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and American center Bradley Hayes (213-94, college: Georgetown) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu maintains third place with 14-7 record having four points less than leader Falco-Vulcano. Newly promoted Oroszlany keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. Atomeromu will face Sopron KC (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Oroszlany will play against PVSK-Veolia in Pecs and hope to win that game.
