Second Stage Round 10: BARS-RGEU - Zenit-Farm 83-81

Important game to mention about took place in Rostov. Fifth ranked BARS-RGEU (11-13) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 3rd ranked Zenit-Farm (16-8) 83-81 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Zenit-Farm. BARS-RGEU forced 19 Zenit-Farm turnovers. Strangely Zenit-Farm outrebounded BARS-RGEU 38-25 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Power forward Sergey Bolotskikh (206-90) scored 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Vladislav Solovyev (195-88) chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side center Kirill Arkhipov (202-96) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds and guard Sergey Marikhin (193-95) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Zenit-Farm players scored in double figures. Newly promoted BARS-RGEU maintains fifth position with 11-13 record. Zenit-Farm at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
