Second Stage Round 10: Neftekhimik T. - Rusichi K. 95-82

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Rusichi K. (8-16) lost to fourth ranked Neftekhimik T. (13-11) in Tobolsk 82-95 on Sunday. Neftekhimik T. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Rusichi K.'s 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Rusichi K. was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for power forward Ilya Aginskikh (204-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds. Point guard Taras Klyundikov (190-95) contributed with 24 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Neftekhimik T. players scored in double figures. Power forward Svyatoslav Makushkin (202-92) replied with 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and swingman Aleksey Almushev (198-90) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Rusichi K.Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Neftekhimik T. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 13-11 record. Rusichi K. lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
