Regular Season Round 2: APOP - AEL 66-65

Important game to mention about took place in Paphou. APOP saved a 1-point victory at home edging AEL 66-65 on Saturday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But AEL won fourth quarter 18-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Courtney Pigram (185-85, college: ETSU, agency: Interperformances) saved the victory by scoring 24 points. The other American import forward Tristin Walley (201-96, college: Arkansas St., agency: One Motive Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Puerto Rican point guard Ivan Gandia-Rosa (185-97, college: N.Florida) replied with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American Josh Ferguson (203-96, college: Winthrop) added 13 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for AEL. APOP will play against E.N. Paralimni on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AEL will have a break next round.
