Regular Season Round 1: Levaux - Swiss Central 71-83
Date: October 11, 2020
An interesting game was also tough home loss of Levaux in a game in Vevey versus Swiss Central 83-71. American guard Jermale Jones (186-86, college: Tuskegee) nailed 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) accounted for 20 points and 12 rebounds. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Power forward Arnaud Barapila (196-87) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and Dominican forward Jason Del-Rosario (196-96) added 13 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for Levaux in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swiss Central will meet at home Academie Fribourg in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Levaux will play against Morges-Saint-Prex and hope to win that game.
