Regular Season Round 4: Ujbuda - Vasas Csata 56-70

Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Budapest: Vasas Csata (#5) and BEAC-Ujbuda (#10). BEAC-Ujbuda was defeated at home 56-70 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Vasas Csata made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Guyanese forward Brianna Fraser (190-97, college: Maryland, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international swingman Boglarka Bach (180-97) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Vasas Csata players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Ieshia Small (183-94, college: Maryland) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and her fellow American import forward Janae Smith (188-92, college: UAB) scored 18 points. Vasas Csata (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with Csata. Loser BEAC-Ujbuda dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Vasas Csata will face league's second-placed Sopron at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BEAC-Ujbuda will play against Uni Gyor (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
