Dynamo-MGTU has registered their first victory this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Rusichi K. (0-4) 84-71. Dynamo-MGTU dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Rusichi K.'s 32. The winners were led by swingman Maksim Knyazev (200-96) who scored that evening 24 points and center Yuriy Kochnev (209-89) supported him with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Even 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Aleksey Makarov (192-92) did not help to save the game for Rusichi K.. Swingman Aleksey Almushev (198-90) added 13 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Rusichi K.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dynamo-MGTU (1-2) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Mitsu B. It was Rusichi K.'s fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Dynamo-MGTU will play against higher ranked Cheb.Yastreby (#4) in Cheboksari in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rusichi K. will play at home against the league's leader Tambov (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
