ENAD has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Limassol, where they defeated Anagennises (1-3) 55-42. Anagennises was ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 39-17 second half run of ENAD. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Anagennises to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 26 Anagennises turnovers. American guard Madison Torresin (183-96, college: W.Chester) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Chryso Constantinou (172-93) accounted for 8 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-95, college: CBU) came up with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and naturalized British Chrystalla Merkouri (182-75) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Anagennises in the defeat. ENAD left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Anagennises. ENAD will play against higher ranked Etha (#3) in Nicosia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Anagennises' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Limassol to the arena AEL.
