Another upset was a game between Mitsu B. (1-3) and Rusichi K. (2-4), which took place in Kursk. 7th ranked Mitsu B. lost to tenth ranked Rusichi K. in a road game 83-92 on Wednesday. Rusichi K. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for guard Aleksey Makarov (192-92) who led his team to a victory with 31 points and 7 assists. Center Maksim Voytov (208-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Rusichi K.'s coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Guard Alexandr Kuznetcov (187-98) replied with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Aleksey Fedorchuk (208-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 18 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Mitsu B.Four Rusichi K. and five Mitsu B. players scored in double figures. Rusichi K. moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Chelbasket. Newly promoted Mitsu B. dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Rusichi K. will face league's leader AltajBasket in Barnau in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Mitsu B. will play at home against Dynamo STV (#4) and hope to win that game.
