A very close game took place in Perm between Parma-2 and Zenit-2. Ninth ranked Parma-2 (4-4) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Zenit-2 (5-5). Parma-2 managed to escape with a 3-point win 77-74 on Wednesday evening. The best player for the winners was forward Aleksandr Kurov (204-0) who scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Guard Kirill Budin (181-1) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Parma-2 players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Vladimir Fomenko (201-0) who recorded 14 points and 6 rebounds and center Ivan Krikun (206-0) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Parma-2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place. Loser Zenit-2 dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with N.Novgorod-2. Parma-2 will meet Unics-2 (#11) in the next round. Zenit-2 will play against MBA-2 (#3) and hope to secure a win.
