Regular Season Round 9: MBA-2 - Dynamo-Farm 84-81

Important game to mention about took place in Moscow. Twelfth ranked MBA-2 (2-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging higher ranked Dynamo-Farm (3-5) 84-81 on Saturday evening. They outrebounded Dynamo-Farm 43-31 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Pozdnyakova Anna (181-0) stepped up and scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and center Anastasiia Bobrik (185-1) chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Elena Mikhailova (183-0) with 20 points and point guard Mariya Rodionova (171-2) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Four MBA-2 and five Dynamo-Farm players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. MBA-2 moved-up to eleventh place. Dynamo-Farm at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with UMMC Junior. MBA-2 will play against Sparta&K-2 V (#12) in Vidnoye in the next round. Dynamo-Farm will play on the road against Stavropol (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
