The game in Nicosia was also quite interesting. Third ranked Etha (4-1) played at the court of 5th ranked ENAD (1-4). Etha defeated ENAD 72-59 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Etha. ENAD managed to win third quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Etha forced 21 ENAD turnovers. Point guard Ioanna Kyprianou (160-3) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Maya Brewer (180, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Etha's coach Skevi Georgiou used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Madison Torresin (183-96, college: W.Chester) with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Popi Frageskou (172-87) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Etha have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with AEL. Loser ENAD keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Anagennises. Etha will meet at home league's second-placed AEL in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ENAD will play against APOP Paphou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
