Regular Season Round 12: Lokomotiv-2 - MBA-2 85-51

VTB-Youth League top team - Lokomotiv-2 (11-3) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed eighth ranked MBA-2 (6-6) in Krasnodar 85-51. The game was mostly controlled by Lokomotiv-2. MBA-2 managed to win second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lokomotiv-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by MBA-2's players. The best player for the winners was center Yaroslav Nyagu (211-3) who scored 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Kirill Elatontsev (207-2) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Coach Zakhar Pashutin's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Anton Alakin (197-0) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Nikita Mozharovskiy (184-3) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Lokomotiv-2 have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-3 record. MBA-2 lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Runa-2. Lokomotiv-2 will meet Avtodor-2 (#5) in the next round. MBA-2 will play against N.Novgorod-2 and hope to secure a win.
