Regular Season Round 12: Atomeromu - JP-Auto JKSE 117-63

There was no surprise in Paks where bottom-ranked JP-Auto JKSE (0-5) was outplayed by second ranked Atomeromu (7-2) 117-63 on Monday. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to JP-Auto JKSE's 30. They outrebounded JP-Auto JKSE 49-22 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Atomeromu looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by JP-Auto JKSE's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American Winston Shepard (203-93, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists and international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) who added 27 points and 8 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Atomeromu's coach Branislav Dzunic felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American guard Donovan Donaldson (185-96, college: Tusculum, agency: Mansfield and Associates) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Serbian forward Aleksa Brbaklic (195-95) scored 22 points. Atomeromu have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Loser JP-Auto JKSE still closes the standings with five games lost. Atomeromu will face Alba (#6) in Szekesfehervar in the next round where they are favorite. JP-Auto JKSE will play on the road against OSE Lions (#9) in Oraszlany and hopes to get finally their first victory.
