Regular Season Round 11: Burevestnik - Uralmash 78-94

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Yaroslav. Third ranked Uralmash faced their close opponent Burevestnik. Guests from Yekaterinburg (6-3) defeated host Burevestnik (5-3) 94-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Burevestnik. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Igor Novikov (191-92) who led the winners and scored 10 points and 7 assists. Power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-88) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winning side. Four Uralmash players scored in double figures. American guard Justin Roberson (187-93, college: ULM) came up with 33 points (!!!) and center Ivan Nelyubov (206-88, agency: Alti Sport) added 16 points respectively for Burevestnik in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Uralmash have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Despite that victory Uralmash went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with MBA Moscow. Burevestnik at the other side dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. Uralmash will have a break next round. Burevestnik will play on the road against Irkut (#14) in Irkutsk and hope to win that game.
