The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Atomeromu as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Atomeromu defeated 10th ranked PVSK-Veolia in Paks 93-75. Worth to mention a great performance of American Winston Shepard (203-93, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import power forward Justin Jackson (203-90, college: Cincinnati) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Croatian forward Veljko Budimir (198-85) with 17 points and American guard Kenney Funderburk (193-92, college: Columbus St.) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Atomeromu have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. PVSK-Veolia at the other side keeps the tenth place with four games lost. They share the position with KTE-Duna. PVSK-Veolia will play next round against Szolnok trying to get back on the winning streak. Atomeromu will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Alba in Szekesfehervar.
