Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Vasas Csata (4-2) won against 10th ranked BEAC-Ujbuda (2-9) in Budapest 63-58 on Saturday. Vasas Csata made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for American-Guyanese forward Brianna Fraser (190-97, college: Maryland, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Klaudia Papp (167-95) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Vasas Csata players scored in double figures. Swingman Beatrix Meresz (185-99) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and American guard Ieshia Small (183-94, college: Maryland) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BEAC-Ujbuda. Vasas Csata moved-up to seventh place. Loser BEAC-Ujbuda keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. Vasas Csata will face league's leader Sopron on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BEAC-Ujbuda will play against Uni Gyor (#3) and hope to win that game.
