Very expected game when 9th ranked TFSE-MTK (3-7) was smashed by second ranked Atomeromu (9-1) in Budapest 75-54 on Saturday. Atomeromu forced 22 TFSE-MTK turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for international forward Cyesha Goree (191-93, college: Michigan, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Serbian Maja Skoric (186-89) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American point guard Chanise Jenkins (165-92, college: DePaul) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Alisia Jenkins (186-94, college: S.Florida) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for TFSE-MTK. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Atomeromu. They maintain second place with 9-1 record having just one point less than leader Sopron. Loser TFSE-MTK keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Atomeromu will face Miskolc (#5) on the road in the next round. TFSE-MTK will play against PEAC-Pecs (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
