Rather predictable result when second ranked Kormend (7-2) beat at home 6th ranked Sopron KC (4-5) 89-83 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great shooting night for Kormend especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Sopron KC was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier) fired 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. His fellow American import guard Xavier Thames (191-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 19 points and 7 assists. Lithuanian Tauras Jogela (202-93, agency: 011 Sports) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Antino Jackson (182-96, college: N.Mexico) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sopron KC's coach Kostas Flevarakis tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kormend maintains second place with 7-2 record behind leader Atomeromu. Loser Sopron KC dropped to the seventh position with five games lost.
