Undefeated leader Rostov delivered the thirteenth consecutive victory on Monday night. This time they crushed 11th ranked UMMC Junior (3-8) 93-53. Rostov dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to UMMC Junior's 34. Rostov forced 20 UMMC Junior turnovers and outrebounded them 55-29 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rostov made 9 blocks. Power forward Alexandra Kirina (190-96) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Iuliia Grabovskaia (190-1) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Center Darya Kosulnikova (192-99) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and guard Darya Sharova (171-2) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rostov (13-0) have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 13 victories in a row. UMMC Junior lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with eight games lost.
