VTB-Youth League top team - Lokomotiv-2 (15-5) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Enisey-2 (3-13) in Krasnodar 93-44. The game without a history. Lokomotiv-2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Enisey-2 to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 54.1 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Enisey-2 46-28 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lokomotiv-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Enisey-2's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lokomotiv-2 made 10 blocks. Center Yaroslav Nyagu (211-3) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Daniil Ishchenko contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Lokomotiv-2 players scored in double figures. Lokomotiv-2's coach Zakhar Pashutin felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Dmitriy Ivanov (198-1) answered with 11 points and forward Ivan Vaschenko (199-2) added 5 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Enisey-2. Lokomotiv-2 have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-5 record. Enisey-2 lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Lokomotiv-2 are looking forward to face CSKA Junior (#7) in Moscow in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Enisey-2 will play on the road against Zenit-2 (#6) in Sankt Petersburg and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
