Apoel was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American point guard Nick Garth (183-96, college: Lamar) fired 18 points and 8 assists for the winners. International forward Georgios Tretiakov (195-0) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Omonia players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Stefanos Iliadis (185-94, college: S.Florida) produced 27 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Julian Norfleet (188-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: GoEmpire Group) added 8 points respectively for lost side. Apoel's coach Vasilis Fragias rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Omonia moved-up to sixth place. Apoel lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with six games lost. Omonia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Apoel will play against Etha (#8) and hope to secure a win.
