Bottom-ranked BARS-RGEU managed to get a second victory, breaking the three-game losing streak. This time they won against tenth-ranked Mitsu B. in Lipetsk 94-80. BARS-RGEU dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Mitsu B.'s 24. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Artem Kuzmin (202-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Sergey Bolotskikh (206-90) who added 17 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. BARS-RGEU's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Konstantin Breev (195-83) with 23 points and 5 rebounds and guard Sergey Rozhkov (188-99) scored 24 points and 4 steals. Four Mitsu B. players scored in double figures. BARS-RGEU (2-8) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with defeated Mitsu B. Mitsu B. lost third consecutive game. BARS-RGEU will play against league's leader Tambov on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Mitsu B. will play against the league's second-placed AltajBasket (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
